HI ALL, I have a question
My 7th grade daughter is doing a project on which orange juice has the most vitamin c by way of titration. she wants to know if she can use Equate: Providine-Iodine solution 10%? Instead for the Lugol's iodine solution.

Hello and welcome to Science Buddies!
I can't say for certain, so maybe another Expert should help me out on this. But my first instinct is to say no; Lugol's iodine is a more pure mixture with a known level of iodine, whereas Povidone-Iodine is a more complex mixture with less certain components. Titrations are highly sensitive experiments so I would say acquiring Lugol's solution is preferable.
