There is a water desalination kit that mentions that you can use a heat lamp to replace sunlight to evaporate water. Which lamp should I use? Wattage?

What? Please answer I don't know much about heat lamps nor how to safely use them.

Hi Edoalearner - You can use a heat lamp or a high-wattage incandescent bulb, as noted. Here are some general specifications from our science team:
A high-wattage incandescent (not CFL or LED) light bulb -- you will want a 150W incandescent bulb
Heat lamp -- these are commonly in the 250W range
