what are some things plants need to have a succsessful growth
Can you help me? Can you tell me some things plants need besides water soil and sunlight? How can you tell the plant had successful growth? Do they need large amounts of light?
Re: what are some things plants need to have a succsessful growth
Plants need three main things to grow: water, soil, and sunlight. But there are a few other things that plants need to be healthy and grow strong:
Nutrients: Plants need nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium to grow. These nutrients are often found in fertilizers or in compost, which is made from decomposed plant material.
Air: Plants need air to breathe, just like we do! Air contains carbon dioxide, which plants use to make food through a process called photosynthesis.
Space: Plants need space to grow and spread out their roots. If a plant doesn't have enough space, it may not be able to grow as big and strong as it could.
You can tell a plant has had successful growth if it has grown taller, produced new leaves, and maybe even flowers or fruit. A healthy plant will also have strong stems and bright, vibrant leaves.
Plants do need light to grow, but they don't necessarily need large amounts of light all the time. Some plants can grow in low light conditions, while others need more light to thrive. It depends on the type of plant and its specific needs.
Science is not just a subject, it's a way of thinking!!
