Help with a catchy yet informative science fair project title

Post by Sprout1025 »

Hello! My son did an engineering project for science fair this year. He created dams out of rock, soil, sand, and clay inside of a large, clear slightly tilted container to test the permeability of each material. He wanted to see which dam material would hold back the most water in a flood situation. He timed and measured the amount of water for each material. He wanted a catchy title such as, "It's a Dam Thing." While his teacher approved the title I wasn't sure if it's appropriate, and also thinking he may need a subtitle or a little more info. I was wondering if you could help with a catchy title that also explained his project with maybe a more scientific approach. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi, I'm not an expert in material science, but here's my suggestion:

"It's a Dam Thing:
which dam material holds back the most water"

just using your own description for the "subtitle"!

Best of luck at the fair!
