Making Marshmallows
I’m having a hard time understanding what my independent and dependent variables would be. Would the independent variables be the ratio of corn syrup to sugar?

Re: Making Marshmallows
Hello,
Are you following this STEM Activity Guide? If so, it is not intended to be an experiment with independent and dependent variables.

Or are you following this Science Project Guide? For this project the independent variable is the ratio of sugar to corn syrup. The dependent variables will be the melting temperature, the toughness, and the taste of the marshmallows that you test on the three different recipes.

Here's a good resource explaining the different types of variables.

Hope this helps!
