I’ve been working on this project by investigation, gathering data from various resources in the internet. I realized that i have no clue what to actually do to test my hypothesis. The hypothesis is: ”Using off-grid solar energy instead of using grid electricity to charge electric vehicles would not cause additional breakdowns in the electrical grid and would not require modifications to the grid to tolerate the increased amounts of energy consumed and received.” I feel like i’ve hit a slump with this, and i’d appreciate if anyone could give me a heads up.
P.S. This experiment is set to address Puerto Rico.
Charging electric vehicles with solar energy: a viable option to reduce stress on the grid? Science Fair help.
