Voice Recognition Arduino - Record Untrained
We are using an Arduino Uno to train voice commands for a lamp. We are able to train the "On" and "Off" commands using Train 0 and Train 1. Both are trained successfully When we attempt to load the commands we keep getting a "Record Untrained" response. We have tried almost every Baud Rate available, and are certain that our hardware is connected properly and functioning. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Voice Recognition Arduino - Record Untrained
Hi - can you post a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing in the serial monitor window? In particular compare to this timestamp in the video:
https://youtu.be/YZ0SOAFXVAQ?si=An0Y-WoGVEeXZ3WN&t=238
here three commands are recorded, loaded with "load 0 1 2". If you only trained two commands it should be "load 0 1". If that line is off at all and doesn't match the numbers you trained - for example if you type "load 1 2" because you forgot that it starts counting at zero (we've had users make that mistake before) - you may get that error.

Re: Voice Recognition Arduino - Record Untrained
Hi - hmm, I can't tell what's going wrong from your screenshot. I am finding several forum threads discussing the same issue that unfortunately don't have a solution:
https://github.com/elechouse/VoiceRecog ... 3/issues/9
https://github.com/elechouse/VoiceRecog ... /issues/14
https://github.com/elechouse/VoiceRecog ... /issues/25
One user mentions contacting the manufacturer and getting a new unit shipped to them, which then worked.
Some of the posts are as recent as two weeks ago, so this may be an issue with a defective batch of boards. I would try contacting the seller to see if you can get a refund or a replacement unit. If it still doesn't work you might want to try another speech recognition unit, we have a tutorial for a different brand here: https://youtu.be/z4Az6-MwPJ4?si=hsDZ92pJUGw5Voh2
