teeth staining

What might be a comparable medium to the enamel on your teeth?
example: hard boiled egg shell? ceramic tile?

You could try enamel spray paint, or regular paint on the back of a ceramic tile. The front of the tile (fired glaze part) is more impermeable than tooth enamal. A fired but unglazed ceramic would be comparable to the dentin in the tooth.

Bones and tooth enamal contain Hydroxyapatite--but there is much more in the tooth enamel.

An egg shell experiement sounds interesting!

Good luck!
