We're just trying to get going on the NANORGS project. We've downloaded the sample code and execution environment following the instructions. Unfortunately when we try to run Contest06-Apple in a terminal window we get the following error: ./contest06-apple: Bad CPU type in executable
Searching the web didn't provide any solutions. Running Mac OS X 10.9.5

Re: NANORGS Contest06-Apple Doesn't Work
Hi - Thank you for posting here in the forums.
We had a few of our team of scientists give the downloadable code a try on a current Mac OS, and we also encountered problems. It appears that the code was compiled for the Power PC, so it likely that it will not run on any modern Mac OS. If you are able to use the code on a PC, you may have better luck.
(We will be updating the project accordingly.)
