Clueless in Coding

Hey!

Recently I came across the word 'Coding' and I tried to find about it. I tried everywhere but I wasn't satisfied with answers. I don't get what it is and many of my friends already know how to do it and stuff. And i also heard it helps in creating apps and other 'new' things that can help in science fairs. Also I'm very very curious about it. Please explain and answer, thank you!

Hi Samhitha,

My idea of 'coding' is writing the html or xml commands and the text that make up a web page so the browser knows how to present it on the screen. I'm certainly not an expert coder but I learned enough to create my own web page with photos, links, tables, different colors, fonts, etc. Writing code to operate an app or software is way beyond my capability, but if you just want to learn how to code web pages you can teach yourself easily with youtube tutorials.

Is coding supposed to relate to your other post on the effect of pH on the nutrient values of crops? Let us know what you finally decide and then keep all your subsequent posts in a single thread on a single forum so we can follow it better.
