Writing up the procedure for your experiment is simply describing, in detail, exactly what you did to perform the experiment. Imagine an alien has landed from another planet and wanted to do this experiment but didn't know about Science Buddies and the internet. To help, you give them a copy of your lab writeup. The procedure section should spell out what needs to be done and how to do it. The procedure provided on the website that you followed when you did the experiment will give you a good start.

Also, I would recommend always performing multiple trials (usually 2-3) if it is applicable to your experiment. Then in the end, you should average your data to get your final result. That way, you can better eliminate the effects of human error, making your conclusion more accurate.
