My name is Joseph..i am doing a science project on robotics. i built the blue bot motion activited robot. kit # SKU: JAM-6300-KIT.
My original idea was to attach it to a nerf gun to shoot nerf darts when activated but i am not able to do this...
my question: can i add a light and/or sound sensor to this robot and if so, any ideas how.
thanks for the help.

Re: modifying robot kit
Hi Joseph,
The kit you purchased already comes with light sensors, and there is a version of the project that shows you how to build a robot that will follow a flashlight:
https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... p022.shtml
The kit does not come with any sound sensors. It should be possible to purchase microphones and modify the robot to drive towards a sound source instead of light, but this would be difficult if you do not have much electronics experience.
Another option if you have any programming experience is to add an Arduino (a type of tiny programmable computer) to the robot. That lets you make the robot programmable so it can do more advanced behaviors. We have an introduction to Arduino here:

Hope that helps. Please write back if you have more questions.
