Disk Size for Disk Diffusion

Hello,

Is it ok to have the disks be larger than the usual 5mm when putting in an agar dish (as long as they are all the same size for the other items being tested)? If my son is only using one disk per 100 plate, how large a disk would you suggest so the zone of inhibition could be measured a little easier? Thanks!
