Hi
Im working on a science project about making an antimicrobial coating to reduce the bacteria on phone screens. I will be using essential oil(for its antimicrobial properties) as an ingredient to make this coating. However, I have trouble trying to find out what compound to be added with essential oil to make this coating. My aim is to ensure this coating can stay on the phone for a few days, will not come off by water splashing on the screen anf can only be removed with thorough cleaning. Do you have any suggestions for what I can add with essential oils to make a coating?
Thanks,
Darius
Moderator note: this project seems to include life sciences AND physical sciences, so I am cross-posting it to the Grade 8 Physical Sciences forum so experts from both forums will see your questions. Good luck on this project! It looks useful!
