Hello,
I am working on a project about polyfluoroalkyl substances, which are man made chemicals in factories. They are highly toxic at low levels (1ppt EWG limit) but are found in all water sources throughout major cities in the United States. I have found that when entering the body, it has a high binding affinity with serum albumin through my research. Is there any way to detect the binding between serum albumin and the PFAS? They bind non-covalently, and ways to detect this should not include heavy machinery in science labs. Maybe something like liquid/paper chromatography, etc. Any help is much appreciated.
