Finding natural beach sand in Colorado

Post by 24jspielman »

I live in a landlocked state but am doing a project that needs natural beach sand. What is the best way to recreate or find that sand? Due date in October 30th so I need it fast. Thank you!

Doing a project about sand without access to sand sounds difficult.

A lot depends on your project..... especially since you say you need "natural beach sand." If you can't get somewhere to get that in person, you might need to consider a different project.

However, it looks like sand can be ordered online, including -- which also means you can probably buy sand at your local hardware store. You might try that. There are several types of sand available for landscaping, for example. Just make sure you do your research because "play sand" is different than beach sand.
