What type of mosfet used in motion activated guard robot

Post by Omareeto »

Hello,
I am Omar in grade 6. And I am doing a project called motion activated guard robot#1 from your science buddies website. The problem is that I have all the components for the robot except the MOSFETS. I wanted to buy them online but I don't know what model number is used in this project . I just know that it's an n channel MOSFET.
can you help me please ?

The motors for this project are not very high power so a generic N channel MOSFET like this one should work: https://www.adafruit.com/product/355. If you look at the datasheet that is part number IRLB8721PbF, so you can search for that part number on other sites like Amazon. This is another option (different part number) that should also work: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CTF1JVD/
