Popsicle stick bridge. Best design??

Post by azbokikr »

Hey guys,
I was assigned a project to build a bridge using popsicle sticks glue and thread. The conditions are:

1.It should be made of a maximum of 150 popsicle sticks
2.It should be able to bear a heavy load.
3.It should look elegant.

The exact weight that it needs to carry is not mentioned to me. So, i was wondering which is the best design to achieve maximum load bearing capacity while still looking beautiful.

Awaiting your replies.

Why don't you look at this thread, and see if there is anything useful:

I thought some of the bridges in the links provided in that thread were very elegant, so maybe you will like one of them too.
