Marrisa Hanely,
I think that you are talking about the things that people put in their reports, or on their display boards. The introduction is a summary of your research, Science BUddies calls this a Review of Literature. An abstract is a brief summary of your project, staing your question, hypothesis, procedures, and conclusions. IF you have any questions, please ask.
