frisbee physics

Post by Ryan F. »

Hi.
I'm doing a science fair project about whether the design of a frisbee golf disc affects the distance it can fly. I have noticed differences in the frisbee types (putter, mid-range, long distance) like sharpness of the edges and shape. I looked up information about weight and size but didn't find a lot of differences. I think I read something about the weight being distributed differently among the different frisbees. I'd like to know more about this. Is where the weight is distributed, affect the frisbee's flight?
:P Thank you,
Ryan F.
