saturated fat....help!

Post by fluffykitty1 »

Hi,

I was wondering how many grams of saturated fat is equal to one tablespoon. I am using lard in test tubes to show how many grams of saturated fat is in one item, such as a burrito, but I need to know how to convert grams of sautrated fat to a tablespoon. Any information would help.

Thank You :D

Hi,

According to one website I found, the density of lard is 0.919 g per cubic centimeter, and there are 14.79 cubic centimeters in a tablespoon. If you multiply those numbers together, you will get the number of grams of lard in one tablespoon. Good luck!
