I need help analyzing the data
WE did a project on "is smiling contagious". We walked past 34 people that made eye contact with us and either smiled back or didn't smile back. We did walk past at least double that, but they didn't even look our way! How do I analyze this data and present it???

Re: I need help analyzing the data
Hi,
Welcome to Science Buddies. This is a really good project and you do have quantitative data to analyze. You can calculate the percentage of people who walked past and either made eye contact or did not. You can calculate the percentage of people who made eye contact and either smiled back or did not smile back. All of this data could be presented using a bar graph.

The project board would be greatly enhanced by displaying photographs of smiling and non-smiling people to illustrate your results.
Here is the link for information on completing your project board from the Science Buddies website.

Any other questions?
