Engineering project for STS?
A couple years ago I had a bad experience with my school science fair. I had an engineering project but the judges kept asking me things like "Where is your hypothesis?" I am working on a new project and deciding where to enter it. I can't find explicitly whether projects that follow the engineering process instead of the scientific method are allowed in STS. Any advice? Thanks

Hi Quartz - Have you spent time reviewing the forms and handouts available on the Intel STS site? I pulled up the list, and in this one, there is a section on Engineering Projects:
http://www.societyforscience.org/document.doc?id=12
Full list is here: http://www.societyforscience.org/isef/document/

Thank you for responding. I did see that but in the document it refers to "Intel ISEF and affiliated fairs" so I wasn't sure if it applies to STS.
