QUESTION: Identifying DNA Experiment
QUESTION: Identifying DNA Experiment
Hello,
My daughter and were about to begin this experiment, and I needed to double-check that we are performing it correctly.
In the materials section, it lists deionized water, but in the procedure section (Food Coloring Dye Separation Experiment section, Step #1) where one is making the buffer solution, is says to add bottled water.
This may sound like a ridiculous question, but can you confirm that the bottled…

The lights are position as in figure 7.

Automatic braking with bluebot
Automatic braking with bluebot
Hi,
We have downloaded the Adruino program, we have also downloaded the automatic braking code, and senor to the robot.
We are on 6. C when I select the monitor there are no readings shown. What would I need to do next?
Also, when I disconnect the robot from the usb it will not run? When it’s connected to the usb it will run.
Thanks,
Christy

We have download the Adruino program and have uploaded the automatic braking code and the ping code from examples. When we unplug from the Chrome the car spin in circles. It stops if you put your hand in front of it.
Also,
Does it matter…

Science Fair project questions. Good project idea? If so, what is my Independent Variable?
Science Fair project questions. Good project idea? If so, what is my Independent Variable?
Do you think this is a good idea for a Science Fair project?
"Which has more bacteria on it in restaurants; menus or the entrance handle to the bathroom?"
Our controls would be swabbing a brand new (right out of the box) handle, and a new printed menu.
The dependent variables would be four samples swabbed from…

Absorption of Radiant Energy by Different Colors- equation 5
Absorption of Radiant Energy by Different Colors- equation 5
I performed the exact equation you did for equation 5 and i always end up with a negative exponent
When i do the equation with your numbers i also get a negative number. What you did wrong is when you divide with the 1.6 x 10 -19 you are using a positive 19.
should i be using a positive 19 instead of a negative 19?

Lego shake table - graphing and variables
Lego shake table - graphing and variables
I am helping my kindergartener with the Lego shake table experiment, for his science fair project. He’s planning to build a few different tower heights and we will decide on several displacement values which we will repeat for each tower. I had a couple of questions:
1. How would you display the data in a fun way? Is there a certain type of graph that fits well with these variables and results?
2. Should the…
