Question about How Do Viruses React To Soap? activity
Your picture of a detergent molecule/micelle and the statement/description of a detergent molecule are contradictory to each other. The illustration says the heads are hydrophobic and tails hydrophilic, but the written statement says they are similar to the lipid membrane of a cell with hydrophilic heads and hydrophobic tails. Underwater self-sufficient fuel cell
Underwater self-sufficient fuel cell
Hello, I am a 16 yo.old, I didn't know where exactly to ask this question but here goes...
We know that using electrolysis, we are able to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. We also know hydrogen can be used as fuel.
What if in an underwater vessel, we were able to construct a system where, water from the waterbody is collected in a tank, filter it, and electrolyse it. We would then get hydrogen and oxygen, of…

Not sure I’m smarter than a first grader
Not sure I’m smarter than a first grader
My 7 yo granddaughter has a curious mind. The other morning on the way to school, the car wet with dew. When we stopped, a drip started to run down the windshield. Before the drip reached the bottom, we turned which made the drip go sideways rather than down. She asked why. I’m not sure if I gave her the correct info but I feel like there were 3 things at play. When we stopped and the dew on the car did not stop…
