Popping boba diameter
Popping boba diameter
I tried the spherification/ popping boba experiment. The video shows very small approximately 2 mm boba being created, but then it also shows larger approximately 8 to 10 mm boba . I've tried in vain to find a syringe that has a larger diameter output, but they don't seem to be available (probably because they need to lock with standard size needles). Could you share a method for creating larger droplets and therefore larger boba? Thank you

Microplastics Consumption
My daughter in 4th grade wants to do a science fair project related to how much plastic are we consuming unknowingly on a day to day basis. I am not sure how to measure it
to prove the amount of plastic consumption and how to make it testable and measurable. Any ideas ?
Re: Microplastics Consumption
Hello,
This seems to be a very large undertaking for a fourth grade science project. A good idea would be to narrow down your topic before…

Measuring Wood Burning
We are doing the "Which Kind of Wood Burns Slower" science fair project. How would we go about measuring which burned slowest? Any advice on how we would collect that data?

floating spinach leaves
floating spinach leaves
I did a lab in school on photosynthesis and floating spinach leaves. My group followed the steps in the lab. Our spinach leaves didn't sink and then start to float. They just floated when we poured them in the petri dish. What went wrong?

Light Tracking Bristlebot HELP
Light Tracking Bristlebot HELP
Having trouble with our bots. Teaching a stem class with 15 students. Only two bits worked correctly.
Trouble seems to be with the potentiometers. We purchased our parts in bulk and NOT the kit. The potentiometers we purchased have offset prongs. The bot motors work when these are removed. When we set them into position and turn the knobs the motors do not work. Keep in mind we have two that work perfect even after being…

Solar powered robots to use
Solar powered robots to use
Hello, I am making a science fair project based off of either of these two questions: "Is solar power beneficial to our community?" & "Will robots be integrated into our everyday lives?". For the first one, I am planning on using machinery to show how solar power can be translated onto actual machines and such. However, I don't know where to find simple solar-powered robots. Can you guys help? :D
Thanks,
AJ
