Lab Experiments for Biodegradable Plastic
Lab Experiments for Biodegradable Plastic
Hello, in all honesty, science is a very difficult subject for me. I have been asked to create a lab experiment that will last the duration of the semester, about 3 months. I have decided on the subject of biodegradable plastics or reducing ecological footprints. My issue is that I don't know how to come up with a hypothesis for it and what to experiment with it. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

white as a wavelength
white as a wavelength
with white being all of the wavelengths combined, is there a "visual" for its "wavelength"? is it like a bundle of all the visible light wavelengths, could it be what/where visible light is on the EM spectrum, or is it impossible to imagine? (or another possibility)
Re: white as a wavelength
Hi galaxyfish,
Yes, white is just all wavelengths combined. There isn't really another possibility for any other visible light, as any length less than 400…

A doubt related to genetic mutations
A doubt related to genetic mutations

The thing I don't quite understand is why some mutations cause a disease while similar mutations don't. For example, Table 3…

Bluebot Self-Driving Car - Issues with slide switch powering motor
For my Bluebot Self-Driving Car project, I am following the YouTube tutorials on the Science Buddies channel. I have hit a roadblock. I am trying to add the slide switch that will turn the motors on and off. I got the slide switch to sort of function but instead of turning the motors on and off it makes the motors spin faster and slower. I have checked my…

Differentiating aerobic from anaerobic bacteria
Differentiating aerobic from anaerobic bacteria
Hey, I'm trying to differentiate aerobic bacteria from anaerobic bacteria and found a study that used methylene blue using this mechanism (I'm assuming) to differentiate the two. However, I don't understand how that would work as the glycolysis occurs in both the aerobic and anaerobic respiration. Does anybody know how it works?
