Voltage to Light Problem Voltage to Light Problem I’ve been working on a science project dealing with different brands of AA batteries. In my experiment, though, sometimes a lower voltage battery would output more light than a higher voltage. They’re all in the same flashlight model, and all ran at the same time. Does anyone have an idea why this is? Re: Voltage to Light Problem Hi - this is a bit of a crash-course in electronics, so this may make more sense if you've take a physics class… Read more

Fuel Cell Efficiency Material Help Fuel Cell Efficiency Material Help I am planning to do the Fuel Cell Efficiency Science Fair Project. I wanted my experiment problem statement to be based on how the fuel cell efficiency differs based on the type of catalyst, as suggested in the 'variations' tab. After possibility previewing the experiment, could any person with the knowledge suggest some catalysts that can be safely be reacted with 0.1M phosphate buffer, water, and nickel electrodes as seen… Read more
Dissolved Oxygen test- title and ideas needed Dissolved Oxygen test- title and ideas needed Hi, I am helping my 5th grader. she chose to test dissolved oxygen levels in different water sources and temperatures. school only allows to have one independent variable and one dependent variable. but her teacher approved the hypothesis, which to me includes two independent variables. water sources and temperatures, am I thinking right? or it is still one of each variables? can i add option of… Read more

pid (proportional integral derivative) code not working(2) pid (proportional integral derivative) code not working(2) Hello. I'm doing this project: https://www.sciencebuddies.org/science- ... l-pancreas. I'm trying to write a pid code to finetune the "pancreas" function using the arduino coding language (C++). The code is as follows: #include <PID_v1.h> // Define constants const double setpoint = 700; // Setpoint value // Define PID parameters const double Kp = 1.0; // Proportional… Read more
