Asking abouut anemometer prototyping from e-waste
Asking abouut anemometer prototyping from e-waste
Originally, we planned to use a Reed Switch as the main sensor in our design. The problem is that in my country, it is extremely difficult to find Reed Switches in local electronics stores, and online delivery is slow and unreliable. We also tried looking for old devices to salvage the Reed Switch from, but most of the devices available to us either do not contain one or require complicated…

Developing an Artificial Pancreas
Developing an Artificial Pancreas
I'm unsure whether this is an issue with the multimeter or the water itself, but the reading for the tap water is always around 3.4 or something above 3. Compare this to my reading for the distilled water, which is usually around 2.3. I've scoured websites and the official Youtube video, but I can't figure out why this is occurring. Even when I pour in the tap water, the voltage for the distilled water goes down a little,…

Accents and behaviors (social science)
Accents and behaviors (social science)
This year for my science fair I wanted to dive into social science. My project goes into the human interaction category, so I do need a qualified scientist. My project is about bias towards certain accents; I wanted to give out a survey that includes demographic questions and have the surveyors "rate" their ability to empathize and feel trustworthiness for each accent. I attend Little Rock Central High School, and…

Germination
Germination
What are some plants that can grow well in germination?
Re: Germination
Hi! I think your question is asking which plants germinate easily. If you’re referring mainly to germination speed, some good options are:
•Beans (Lima beans often germinate in under 3 weeks)
•Radishes (especially Cherry Belle; they sprout very quickly)
•Tomatoes (usually germinate in under 2 weeks)
All of these germinate quickly under basic conditions like moisture, temperature and adequate…

I am experimenting on which form of supplement (Liquigel, meltable, and hard shell) is the most efficient in delivering medication. What is a substance that I may use that is NOT unsafe to the human body and can be used in a non-laboratory environment that can mimic the stomach acid in the human body?
Thanks,
