Educational & eco-friendly toys for boy
Educational & eco-friendly toys for boy
What do you think about eco-friendly toys for kids? Maybe do you create some of them on your own? May they be attractive for children in our times, when it is important to have the newest smartphone model?
Do you know some educational, green and less / zero waste toys which I can buy for a 10-year old boy as a birthday present? I was thinking about some wooden train, board game or old set Lego - I heard…

Human powered energy
Human powered energy
For my science fair project I tried doing a project on Science Buddies called Human Powered Energy. I did everything the instructions told me to but it didn't work and my LED's weren't lighting up at all. I tried looking at their help FAQ's and tried their tips but it still wouldn't light up. Here is a link to the Science Buddies project I used:…

May I please have help for my SRP?
May I please have help for my SRP?
I have a school SRP and my question is how the wavelength of light affects the growth (height) of plants. I'm using cellophane as a light filter and watercress as my plant as it will be easier for me to measure height.
However, my school wants us to have both our independent and dependant variables be quantitative. However, I'm uncertain whether the wavelength would be considered quantitative as I'm only using 6…

Biology Labs
Hi,
I was wondering if someone knew why there were more catalase enzymes in potatoes than in leaves.
Or simply why do potatoes have so many catalase enzymes.
Thank you!

Slime-like liquid identification
Slime-like liquid identification
There is a 5 gallon bucket full of what is suspected to be laundry soap or possibly detergent. What tests can be done at home to identify what it is or rule out what it’s not. It’s green, smells good, makes bubbles when mixed with water and agitated vigorously, and does NOT light on fire when butane torch is lit and directed at it and 1 inch away

Request to Interview AI researcher
Hello,
I have a deep interest in brain and technology , AI. I have been working on a project to read brainwaves using EEG. I would like to see if I can talk to an expert to see how I can get mentorship in these areas. I also could use guidance on improving and expanding my project to check the function of Reticular Activating System on focus related activities. Would someone be able to guide me?
Thanks :)

is oxygen perishable?
I'm not a student, but I'm an avid trekkie with an inquisitive mind! I have exhausted all google searches and cannot find a definitive answer :(
if you were to seal a room, make it airtight (but with breathable air within), and access it after a thousand years, would you still be able to breathe that air? is the compound which makes up our breathable air perishable? does it deteriorate in any way?

Rice husk ash-derived zeolites as a marine habitat
Rice husk ash-derived zeolites as a marine habitat
Hello, I am a junior interested in conducting an experiment involving the synthesis of zeolites from rice husk ash. So far my research has indicated that I need to use a hydrothermal reaction to produce these zeolites, but I do not have access to an autoclave or a controlled heat source. My goal is to create a habitat for marine life that also adsorbs nitrate from water. This will require me…
