Archaeology- site resources
Archaeology- site resources
Besides protective clothing, what do archaeologists use during field work to protect themselves and their site from the sun, rain and wind? How expensive is this equipment? How long does it last?
Would an archaeologist working in the field benefit from having access to large vinyl tarps that are 10-20 mm thick, flexible, strong, UV resistant? These tarps could be used to create shade or as ground covers

Ultrasonic levitator
Ultrasonic levitator
Hello! We're working on ultrasonic levitator project. We managed to get it to work with one inverter but it was fairly weak - we got one piece of foam levitating but the transmitters were only about 1 cm above each other. We followed instructions to add additional inverter and the signal seems to be stronger but we are not able to levitate the foam pieces as they always fall off or are pushed off. Any ideas how to approach it / fix it?…

Advanced Ecology
Advanced Ecology
Good Day Experts!
May you please suggest ideas for a very short research article (final requirement) that tackles on population ecology. I only have two months left to perform and write the report. Our teacher wants it to be experimental. My initial idea is to use fruit fly because they are faster to rear and can provide fast results. I want to subject a population/s to a specific parameter and see how would the population/s react (mortality? egg…

Science Fair Project Question (Reducing Landfill Emissions)
Hi, I'm doing a project where I want to find the best method to reduce landfill gas emissions. I will do this by running an experiment with a simulated landfill in a bottle. However, I need help coming up with variables/methods for my experiments. I want 5 realistic and easily attainable methods, and so far I have 3 (control with normal landfill conditions, removal of…

Question on the formula for finding the frequency when doing the ultrasonic transmitter project.
Hi I am back again with another question, i am trying to use the provided formula to find the frequency.
periodMS = 4*numPulses*(Delaytime+digitalwritetime)
Frequency(Hz) = 1/periodS
i am using the formula but it is giving me an unrealistic frequency, when i use the variables given in the video the…

Smart Automated Pill Dispenser
Smart Automated Pill Dispenser
Hello! I am doing science fair currently and my project is a smart automated pill dispenser. Attached is my circuit board from tinkercad. So I am using an Arduino UNO R3 and I have an LCD That will display live RTC Clock, but it shows wrong time and date. It also makes me change the date and everytime I reset, it starts from 12 am. This is the only thing I need to fix and also I have to add specific timings for the beeping noise.…
