Help with Absorption of Radiant Energy project.
Help with Absorption of Radiant Energy project.
As I was working on this project, I noticed that it said to use the temperature of the white piece of paper as the surrounding temperature in equation 2. At first I was confused, as this means if you try to use equation 2 to calculate P for the color white, the result would be zero. I then realized that this was most likely due to the fact that the color white does not absorb any wavelengths of…

Can biodegradable hydrogels be used to conserve water in farming project question
Can biodegradable hydrogels be used to conserve water in farming project question
My daughter is doing her project testing 3 hydrogels to see WHICH one will keep the most water absorbed. The question originally asked on the Sci Buddies project is 'can' hydrogels be used to conserve water...test 3 hydrogels... Is her question an acceptable one? Most Sustainable Type of Desalination.
Most Sustainable Type of Desalination.
Hello!
Please select a desalination method for implementation in a city with a population of 200,000. The chosen desalination process should either be at a commercial level or have a credible trajectory towards commercialization within the next 100 years. If you choose a type of solar based desalination, you do not have to put "the city may not receive consistent sunlight" as that is not a problem in…

Problem with Arduino Solar BlueBot Robot
Problem with Arduino Solar BlueBot Robot
Posting on behalf of student
------------------
Upon assembling the kit and following the instructions we see the circuit is working properly as we can see the robot move in circles upon switching on the switch on the circuit board.
However we have a challenge when we connect Arduino via the provided USB cable to Arduino IDE 2.2.1 installed on my Windows 10 laptop.
We followed the video tutorial on 'how to use…

Help with model car experiment
Help with model car experiment
I have to create model cars powered by different types of energy, such as solar, wind(or balloon-powered), or rubber bands, and test which one makes it move the farthest. I know how I'm gonna make each car but I'm not sure how I would go about testing them. How should I control the energy inputs and whatnot? I want to know how I should test the cars and make it as accurate as possible.
